Hunter Warfield is a privately owned and operated business located at 4620 Woodland Corporate Blvd. Tampa, FL 33614. Like many other collection companies, they also provide a completely different address to the credit bureaus, most likely in an attempt to avoid correspondence from individuals requesting validation for accounts they are reporting. You may also see this same company listed on your report as H Warfield.
The invalid address they are notorious for reporting to the credit bureaus is 3111 W Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd Fl. 2, Tampa, FL 33607. According to their website, “they specialize in revenue recovery for commercial, multifamily and funeral care facilities”.

They were reporting an apartment collection for our client Damien at one point in time. Here is a snapshot of that account from his Experian credit file. You can see the invalid address they were reporting at that time.

On January 12, 2012 they printed the following letter and sent it to our client Damien, thus finally confirming that they were unable to validate the account. They were forced to remove the account from his credit reports (Experian, TransUnion and Equifax).
