Healthcare Collections Inc. was attempting to collect $260 for an inaccurate medical collection that was reporting on our client Laura’s credit report. Though this collection account was 6 years old, it was having a drastic impact to Laura’s credit scores.
Here is a snapshot of how this account was reporting on the original credit report we received in 2013.
After sending our initial validation request directly to the mailing address provided of 2432 W Peoria Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85029, we received a response from them that was far from actual validation of the charges. Quite often, collection companies send responses geared towards making most consumers give up on their efforts to obtain validation of the inaccuracies these companies are reporting. Due to our knowledge of State and Federal Laws, we know better and were far from giving up on obtaining verification for her.
On January 21, 2014, we responded accordingly to Healthcare Collections Inc. and received the letter below, confirming that this account will soon be permanently deleted from Laura’s credit report. The removal of this trade line will increase Laura’s scores dramatically.
If you also could benefit from the removal of an account you may have with Healthcare Collections Inc., or any other creditor/collection company, I encourage you to contact us. The chances that we can help you are very high, in particularly if you also have inaccurate and/or unverifiable medical collections on your credit report.
