Capio Partners was attempting to collect $621 from our client Andrea in regards to an inaccurate medical collection listed on her credit report. This account was recently added to her report while in our program. The account was not listed on the credit report we started with. After speaking with Andrea, we realized that this account was most likely added to her credit file in error, as she has very good medical insurance and was caught up on all co-pays, etc. with her insurance company. Here is a snapshot of how this account was reporting on her Experian credit report.
After sending a debt validation request via certified mail directly to Capio Partners mailing address of 2222 Texoma Pkwy, Ste 150, Sherman, TX 75090, we received the confirmation below clearly stating that they have deleted this incorrect medical collection account from her credit reports.
